デジタルアーカイブ用の資料撮影では、正確な色再現が重要です。一般的に、色の比較・校正には「カラーセパレーションガイド（カラーパッチ）」を写し込む方法が広く採用されています。しかし既製品では、
- サイズが選べず、撮影時に無駄な余白が生じる
- グレースケールとカラーパッチが別カードのため、両方を写す手間がかかる
といった課題がありました。
そこで、季刊みもざ刊行会では、アーカイブ撮影に最適化した独自の「Dropfit Studio カラーコントロールパッチ」を作成しました。
本製品は、グレースケール／カラーパッチ／cmスケールを1枚に集約していますので、撮影時の写し込みがこれ1枚で完結します。
サイズは用途に応じて選べる3種類：
- 通常サイズの「Regular」
- 書籍や小さい資料向けの1/2サイズの「Mini」
- 大判の地図や屋外での撮影に適した4倍サイズの「Grande」
素材には耐水性が高く破れにくいユポ紙を採用していますので、屋外撮影でも安心して使用できます。また、ホワイトバランス調整に便利な「18%グレー」と「ホワイト」を大きめにしています。

Dropfit Studio Color Control Patch
Accurate color reproduction is important when photographing materials for digital archives. In general, the method of imprinting a “color separation guide (color patch)” is widely used for color comparison and proofreading. However, with ready-made products,there are issues such as the fact that the size cannot be selected, resulting in wasted margins when shooting.
The grayscale and color patch are on separate cards, so it is time-consuming to imprint both.
Therefore, the Mimoza-no-kai has created its own “Dropfit Studio Color Control Patch” optimized for archival photography.
This product consolidates grayscale, color patch, and cm scale on one sheet, so imprinting during photography is completed with this one sheet.
There are three sizes to choose from depending on the purpose:
- Regular, the regular size
- Mini, half the size for books and small documents
- Grande, four times the size, suitable for large maps and outdoor photography
The material used is Yupo paper, which is highly water-resistant and tear-resistant, so it can be used safely even when photographing outdoors. In addition, the “18% gray” and “white” are larger, which is convenient for adjusting the white balance.
